THE ANNUAL AFPOP Bowls Tournament was held at the Santo António Bowls Club in Alvor last month, when 36 bowlers enjoyed a keen competition.
Winners were Paula Montgomery and Marion and Mike McDowell, who received ‘The Resident Trophy’ and cut glass decanters from AFPOP’s Pat Roberts. Other finalists received wine bottles. The tournament was sponsored by Aljaloca Construção, a building company based in Carvoeiro, and Connie and John provided their usual excellent support.
