WATER BORDERS of the Algarve are now fully controlled by the office of foreign citizens and border control, SEF.
The Fiscal Brigade of the GNR officially handed control over to SEF last week. The Fiscal Brigade has been asked to relinquish its responsibilities before the division is scrapped altogether, by order of Prime Minister José Sócrates, (as The Resident reported on March 9. Olhão, Faro and Portimão ports are controlled by SEF, which also patrols Lagos and Vilamoura marinas.
