A selection of books seized and/ or censored during Portugal’s decades of dictatorship under the ‘Estado Novo’ is going on show between May 3 and September 3 this year at the Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal (national library), in Lisbon. According to Expresso it is the first time such an exhibition has been assembled. Admission is free.
