A second-hand book fair selling Portuguese and international books at reduced prices will take place at Portimão Av.ª S. João de Deus Market between April 21 and 26.
The event, called ‘Há Livros no Mercado’, is being promoted by the Manuel Teixeira Gomes Book Club, which encouraged locals to donate their used books. Funds raised at the fair will be used by the local library to purchase new books.
