On Saturday, November 4, at 6.30pm the Barlavento English School will hold its annual fireworks and bonfire extravaganza and everyone is welcome to come and join in the fun.
Organised by the parents of the school, the fund raising event will help to provide the latest equipment for pupils at the school.
There will be entertainment for all the family, including a BBQ, bar and various stalls and the evening will end with a bang with an enormous bonfire and fantastic selection of fireworks.
The Barlavento English School can be found on the main EN125 Lagos to Sagres road, about one kilometre after the Praia da Luz turning. Tickets cost five euros for adults, two euros for children aged four to 18 and, for children up to four-years-old, entrance is free.
