AN AMBITIOUS new project with nearly one billion euros worth of investment is due to begin in Vilamoura.
The project, called Cidade Lacustre by the Lusort group, was announced at last week’s real estate fair in Lisbon. Over a total area of 168 hectares, there will be luxury houses, apartments, hotels commercial zones, green areas and lagoons.
Lusort said it was committed to preserving the natural beauty of the area and part of its plans includes apartments with no more than four floors to guarantee that residents and tourists can enjoy the views.
