The body of missing British sailor Dick Monk, 63, was finally recovered from the Guadiana river yesterday, a little over two weeks since he went missing.
The 63-year-old was last seen on December 6 at the Laranjeiras quayside in Alcoutim, after leaving a café.
The tender he used to go back and forth from his yacht was found drifting the next day, sparking a search for his body, which continued for three days before being called off.
