The body of a man apparently in his 30s has been found this morning on the banks of the Douro river in Porto. A source for the country’s maritime authority has been quoted as saying it is not immediately clear what cause the man’s death. PJ police are now investigating. The body was found submerged near the Estátua do Anjo (angel statue) at Foz do Douro.
