Adding to the bad press swirling about Portugal’s State health system, the body of a man has been discovered in the gardens of Lisbon’s Santa Maria Hospital – one of the largest, supposedly ‘most prestigious’ public hospitals in the country. It appears the 62-year-old had been triaged in A&E and then left the premises by choice. For now, cause of death has been unexplained.
