A man’s body was discovered on Thursday morning (May 25) at Praia do Peneco in Albufeira.
Authorities were alerted at around 7.30am by municipal workers who found the body on the beach.
Maritime police, firefighters, INEM emergency workers and PJ criminal police were called to the scene, while the man’s death was declared on the spot. The body was taken to Portimão’s legal medicine office.
The man’s cause of death is still unknown.
