AN UNIDENTIFIED body that was found trapped in the coastal rocks of Cabo Raso, Cascais, on November 3 was recovered by the navy on Tuesday morning.
“The body is in an advanced state of decomposition” said a navy spokesman, adding: “The body has been taken to the Institute of Legal Medicine, where an autopsy will be carried out”.
“Dangerous sea conditions led to the delay in recovering the body,” said a spokesman from the Comando Distrital de Operações de Socorro de Lisboa, Lisbon district’s emergency operations command.
