Body discovered near junction on A13 motorway

The body of a man was discovered early this morning beside the A13 motorway near a junction to Miranda do Corvo (Coimbra district). PJ police are leading the investigation. The man’s identity has not being revealed. The body showed signs of violence, hence suspicions are that this was a murder. UPDATE July 21: Suspicions have turned to certainties. The man’s body shows stab wounds to the face, chest and stomach area. He appears to have been in his 50s. No further information. Body found by a motorway service worker.
