Despite the recent rainfall, a total of 55 players competed for the annual Jimmy Tarbuck Trophy held on February 13 at Boavista Golf Resort, in Praia da Luz (Lagos).
Nick Page took the trophy on count back of 39 points, leaving Paul Gretton to second place. The leading ladies score was close behind at 34 points, taken by Amanda Rogers. Second place in the ladies sector was Jessica Magill. The course played long from the white medal tees for men and red tees for ladies.
According to participants, the course was in “excellent condition” and thanks were given to course superintendant Joaquim Costa and his team for their work.
