German car manufacturer BMW has chosen Lisbon to launch the new 5 Series.
The sixth generation of the luxury sedan will be on show to more than 750 journalists and 7,000 BMW dealers from 50 countries worldwide.
Good weather, high quality hotels, improved roads and the proximity of Estoril race track for testing, said BMW, makes Lisbon the perfect choice.
The car will be on show for 10 weeks starting at the Hotel Villa Itália until February 13 before moving to the Hotel Penha Longa until March 24.
