A blood donor session is to be held at the Barlavento Hospital in Portimão this Sunday (February 7) from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
A professional team of nurses will be on hand to explain the procedure, which takes as little as 30 minutes.
Later this month, another blood donor session will be held at the Hotel Tivoli Carvoeiro on February 25 between 10.30am and 2pm.
This is a chance for people to give blood in a relaxed environment as part of an initiative between the hotel and ADSBA, the blood donors association of Barlavento.
Anyone over aged between 18 and 60, weighing more than 60 kilos, is eligible to take part in these life saving donations.
