SINTRA CÂMARA and the Instituto Nacional do Sangue, the national blood institute, are organising several blood donor sessions at different venues throughout the year.
The sessions, which will all take place between 9am and 1pm, will be hosted at various locations including schools, parish councils, and charity institutions, so as to attract a large range of people.
The first session is due to take place on April 9 at the Escola Secundária Padre Alberto Neto, in Queluz, followed by a session on April 13 at the Rotary Club de Sintra in the parish of Santa Maria e São Miguel.
The Núcleo de Dadores de Sangue at the Igreja de São Pedro in Pero Pinheiro will be hosting a blood donor session on April 20, followed by the E.B. 1 Jardim de Infância do Pendão in Queluz on April 23.
Anyone who is healthy, between the ages of 18 and 65 and weighing 50kg or more, is welcome to attend these blood donor sessions.
