A team from the Algarve Tourism Board will be presenting their new initiatives, including the new “365 Algarve” cultural programme to encourage residents and visitors alike to discover the region’s potential, 365 days a year, through the varied exhibitions, concerts, performances, festivals and gastronomy events already planned.
The tourism board will also present its cycling and walking programme for 2016-2019 and detail the new routes from and to Faro Airport this winter. The presentations will take place on both days of the exhibition.
Refreshed after their gruelling battles with the recent forest fires, the Bombeiros will also be present with demonstrations and advice on fire safety in the home and garden, medical emergency procedures and first aid for animals.
Snacks, hot and cold drinks and a buffet lunch are all available, and there is a lounge area for relaxation within the popular BLiP Shopping section.
afpop, the largest foreign residents’ association in Portugal and organisers of BLiP EXPO, will have a fully-staffed stand to welcome existing members, answer any questions, take subscription renewals and explain the benefits of membership to newcomers.
Entrance is free and there is plenty of parking available.
