Blevins Franks’ latest golf event was held on Friday July 8 at the Oceânico O’Connor Jnr championship course at the Amendoeira Golf Resort.
A strong wind made for tricky playing conditions but it did help keep the sting out of the heat with most players scoring well.
Lunch was provided in the clubhouse afterwards and once all the score cards were in, the prizes were awarded by Gavin Scott (Senior Partner) of the Blevins Franks’ Portugal office.
In first place, with a very tidy score of 45 points, were Chris Frost and Terry Cronnin who each picked up the fantastic prize of a night for two in a deluxe room at the renowned Vila Vita Parc in Porches with dinner at its new Biergarten.
Second place, only one point adrift, were Ray Garnett and Eddie Blackburn who each walked away with a gourmet dinner for two, prepared by themselves under the careful eye of the Fine Dining in Style team.
In third position, after a count back, were Christian Holst and Sergey Naumov, who each took away a €100 voucher to use at the Bistro des Z’Artes in Almancil.
