A WEEK of activities, debates, seminars, demonstrations and tasting sessions has been organised as part of the third annual Bio Week.
Throughout Portugal, organic products and farming methods will be promoted to the public to try and raise awareness of the organic food market.
Activities in the Algarve include an opportunity to sample a 100 per cent organic meal at Casa do Avô in Guia on November 21 between 7.30pm and 10.30pm, while there will also be food sampling sessions at Baptista supermarket in Luz, Lagos, also on November 21 between 11am and 1pm. There will also be daily promotions and product launches between November 15 and 23 at the Apolónia supermarkets in Galé and Almancil.
