A charity bingo night held at The Crows Nest bar in Alvor on Tuesday at 7pm raised more than €300 for the Bom Samaritano children’s home in the same town.
Bingo caller was Robin Lyon, who was instrumental in raising the funds for the home.
The evening also included a raffle and free sandwiches were provided by the bar owners.
All proceeds raised will go to the children’s home.
Lisa Jackson and her husband Gordon from The Crows Nest hold charity nights regularly in aid of worthy local causes.
