Riding from Lagos on May 11, members of the Algarve Senior Bikers (ASB) club travelled down to the west coast of the Algarve, along a rugged route devised by member Dave Longmore.
Extra-strong winds on the day were faced by the group of 27, who arrived at the coastal viewpoint of Arifana following a short break for coffee at Carrapateira.
Members then took a more sheltered ride to the Pincho Valley to enjoy lunch at the Restaurant O Solar.
On their way home, bikers rode towards the Barragem da Bravura, and then on to Odiáxere to finish the day.
The ASB will next meet in São Brás de Alportel on June 26 at 10am for a ride organised by Brian Evans.
