Bikers from across the region came together for a ride through mountains and forests above São Brás de Alportel as part of a trip organised by the Algarve Senior Bikers Group on September 4.
More than 20 bikers rode to Tavira along a route planned by Mike Sanders where a lunch was organised for members by Harley Davidson rider Roger Ingle.
The next meeting of the Algarve Senior Bikers Group is to take place on September 29 and will be a repeat of the ride of the Monchique area in August.
David Shirley from the group said: “The ride was cut short last month as temperatures soared, however the trip to Monchique may have a few alterations and will hopefully include a visit to Caldas de Monchique and also to Foia, the highest point in the Algarve.”
Interested bikers are asked to meet at the Bacchus Bar at Porches Pottery on the EN125 west of Porches at 10am for a breakfast at 11am.
