Members of the Algarve Senior Bikers gathered at a new meeting point at the Petrofer station near the E11 junction of the A22 on October 4 before beginning their ride to Santa Luzia near Tavira.
The 25 bikers stopped en-route in the village of Querença before following joint route planner George Boulter, who headed the group through the countryside around Loulé and then on to Santa Luzia.
The next ride from the group will be on October 28, starting in Paderne and passing through the hills above Salir before finishing with lunch in São Marcos da Serra.
