Organisers of the annual Faro bikers’ meeting are concerned about the summer traffic increase on the EN125 which will be further affected by the thousands of participants attending the event from July 19 to 22.
José Amaro, president of the Moto Clube de Faro, says he is aware that more road accidents and fatalities are likely during this period, and has slammed the suspension of road works on the EN125. However, he hopes bikers won’t be using the tolled A22 as a sign of protest against the government move.
