Lagoa badminton ace Pedro Martins enjoyed a first round bye at this week’s Bahrain Open.
The top seed will be hoping to secure more vital points in his quest for London Olympic qualification come tomorrow (Saturday), a goal which Lagoense club colleague Telma Santos will have found more difficult to achieve given strong opposition in the ladies draw.
