Le Meridien Dona Filipa and San Lorenzo golf course in Vale do Lobo has been voted Best European Golf Resort for 2009 by IAGTO, International Association of Golf Tour Operators.
The award, which was presented at the International Golf Travel Market in Marbella last week, credits the Le Meridien Dona Filipa and San Lorenzo golf course as having consolidated the image and reputation of the Algarve as the best destination to visit in 2009.
