Benfica march on

Benfica, close on the heels of their UEFA Europa League quarter-final victory over Dutch side AZ Alkmaar, could wrap up the Primeira Liga title on Easter Sunday against Olhanense. The Estádio da Luz in Lisbon will be packed to the rafters as fans get ready to celebrate The Eagles’ first championship victory since 2010.
In an unprecedented move by the League, special permission has been given for the game to be played on Easter Sunday, a day normally strictly reserved as a religious festival.  With a Portugal Cup semi-final against FC Porto on April 16 and a Europa League semi-final against Juventus on April 24, the Lisbon club has a hectic eight days.
There are 13 Benfica cafés in the Algarve including Silves, Loulé, Albufeira, Olhão, Tavira, São Brás de Alportel, Faro and Vila Real de Santo António, which will be preparing for a special night on Sunday for the game against Olhanense. So why not go along and enjoy a convivial evening. Kick-off is 6pm and the game is live on Sport TV.
