THE PORTUGUESE economy grew between 1.1 and 1.3 per cent in 2006 – below the 1.4 per cent anticipated by the government.
Millennium bcp and Santander banks believe the economy grew by only 1.2 per cent, while the BES bank believes the economy grew at 1.3 per cent.
Only Caixa BI thought that the annual growth reached 1.4 per cent according to a report by Reuters.
