Bella Acapella, the only barbershop chorus in Portugal, was on stage Saturday, October 29 at the Misericórdia church in Tavira for the seventh time as part of the “Música nas Igrejas” event.
The audience was under the Bella spell and captivated with the repertoire and the flow of this glowing concert. The singers were presented in a half circle for The Water is Wide, a Scottish ballad, followed by a magical solo in the beginning of One Voice and a quartet in total harmony with Bring Him Home from the famous Musical Les Misérables. Following the theme, music of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s such as Moondance, Isn’t She Lovely, Seven Bridges Road, Nine to Five, To Make You Feel My Love, The Rhythm of Love and The Climb were warmly received.
The outcome of hard work and dedication was displayed through the beauty of their vocal unity resulting in a wonderful feeling of joy and fun.
Under the direction of Rob Does, their talented and energetic Musical Director, Bella Acapella has grown into a special Algarve treat !
