Belgian authorities confirm deaths of four, not three, Portuguese construction workers in schoolbuilding collapse

With the King Philippe of Belgium pledging to get to the bottom of what caused the horrific collapse of a primary school building due to have opened in September, confirmation has come through today that four, not three, Portuguese construction workers lost their lives in the tragedy. A fifth victim was of Moldovian nationality. Of nine men recovered alive from the rubble (four Romanians, two Ukrainians, one Portuguese and two of ‘unspecified’ nationalities) only three remain in intensive care, albeit in a stable condition. One has been discharged, the others are on general trauma wards.
