The borough of Beja will not now be stopped from moving to deconfinement stage 3 as DGS health chiefs have ‘revised’ the 14-day rolling average of case numbers and found it actually complies with the stipulation to be under 120 cases per 100,000. The revised figure for Beja is 107 cases per 100,000 – thus Monday will see its shops and services moving forwards with the rest of the country as per the prime minister’s announcement last night.
