If you love beer so much that you literally want to bathe in it, then the second Lagos World Beer Fest is the event for you.
For the first time in Portugal, there will be a “beer spa” that will allow people to bathe in an oak barrel filled with beer while drinking a pint of one of the 25 beers and ciders from around the world that will be available at the event.
The Lagos World Beer Fest will take place between Thursday, June 27 and Saturday, June 29 at the Praça do Infante town square near the riverside and will also feature street food, musical entertainment and “beer-related games”.
The ‘Bebe e Pedala’ (drink and pedal) challenge involves a group of up to 18 people riding a bicycle together whilst enjoying a drink.
Organisers are expecting over 20,000 people to attend the three-day fest, which starts at 12 noon and ends at midnight each day. Admission is free.
