Finalists from across the region took part in an event to find the woman who would go on to represent the Algarve in the Miss Portugal competition.
The event was presented by Adela Clark at the Hilton Vilamoura As Cascatas Golf Resort & Spa and from the 16 finalists, Miss Faro Samantha Reais (pictured) was crowned the winner and will now go on to compete at a national level before the overall winner will go onto represent Portugal at the international Miss World competition.
