DR. SHIRIN Samimi-Fard certainly has an international background. She was born in Berlin and raised in Tenerife, Canary Islands.
After finishing high-school at the German School in Tenerife, she graduated from La Laguna University School of Medicine in 1994. Upon returning to Germany, Dr. Samimi-Fard completed a two-year fellowship in dermatology in the office of Dr. Tiel in Berlin, where she was involved in the field of aesthetic dermatology as well as dermatologic lasertherapy.
Dr. Samimi-Fard later completed her dermatology residency and dermatologic surgery fellowship in the Department of Dermatology of the Allergie und Hautklinik Norderney, in Germany, where she remained as a clinical assistant professor after her training. She has board certification in two specialties, dermatology and allergology.
Dr. Samimi-Fard currently has a dermatology office in Gladbeck, Germany, and lectures nationally and internationally in the field of skin rejuvenation, botulinum toxin and wrinkle fillers, being strongly involved in the training of physicians. She also serves in the advisory board of laser companies. She speaks fluent German, English, Spanish, some French and Iranian.
