Teatro das Figuras in Faro will play host to a Beatles tribute concert by Algarve guitarist Eudoro Grade on October 23, from 9.30pm.
Eudoro Grade will be supported by the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra under the direction of conductor Nikolay Lalov.
The performance will see some of the band’s most famous tracks being played as per the Cuban composer Leo Brouwer’s masterpiece Beatleriana – Yesterday to Penny Lane.
The performance also aims to mark the 40th anniversary since the band split and the birthday of John Lennon, who would have been 70 this year.
