Maritime police carried out a series of checks on beaches at Armação de Pêra/Vale do Olival and booked a number of traders and concessionaires for irregularities.
Eleven concessionaires providing beach beds and shades were inspected and four were fined for having too many sun-beds. Seven beach sellers were also identified and fined for operating without a licence. Police confiscated a number of goods.
