A fire completely destroyed the Dourada Beach Bar in Alvor on the morning of April 13 between the hours of 1am and 5am.
District Command Emergency Operations (Comando Distrital de Operações de Socorro do Algarve) confirmed to Lusa news agency that there were no injuries as a result of the fire, which was fought for about four hours between 1am and 5am.
At the scene of the incident were 24 firefighters supported by eight GNR vehicles and the Maritime Authority.
The case is now under investigation by the Judicial Police.
