Be an Angel this Christmas

Algarve children’s charity ACCA is returning this year with another appeal for donations to help make this Christmas special for underprivileged children living in the region.

ACCA’s Angel Programme is an initiative based on “the joy of the gift of giving”. The primary goal of the Angel Programme is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to underprivileged children who will motivate them to flourish and grow.

Wanda Crawford, president of ACCA, said: “Let children know that they are loved and are very special. Impoverished children need to know they are not their circumstances.”

ACCA receives the Christmas wish list from children in orphanages, poor families, and identified by teachers and community centres, which work closely with the people living at and below the poverty line.

“Help spread the word about the wonderful Angel initiative in your community so that local children can have the Christmas they deserve. If you don’t have the time to devote, you can still help by making a donation to the Angel campaign,” said Wanda.

If you want to put a smile on a child’s face, help by buying a gift for an underprivileged child this Christmas season.
