Karin Romano, who runs the Perfect 10 salon in Vale do Lobo, is originally from New York State and has a background in sales and management. She worked for nine years for a well-known cosmetic company in NY, Boston and North Carolina, before moving to the Algarve four-and-a-half years ago. She started ‘doing nails’ three years ago. “I specialise in Gel nails from IBD and Bio Sculpture,” she explained. “I was certified in Lisbon for both of these courses.” Karin has two therapists on hand to offer massage, body treatments, facials, manicures and pedicures, reflexology and aromatherapy.
