British resident Peter Booker will be leading a “battle dinner” at the Hotel Garbe in Armação de Pêra on November 24 with a talk about the history of the French invasions of Iberia from Talavera to Torres Vedras.
This is the third in Peter Booker’s series of presentations about the Peninsular wars in this bicentennial of Britain’s participation in the wars in Iberia.
The event is due to start at 6pm, with tickets costing 20 euros including dinner.
