Bars and restaurants are calling time on the weekend gathering in Lisbon’s Santos neighbourhood. Their plan is to close early between Thursday and Sunday (the times thousands of young people descend on the streets for all-night revelry click here). For now this is just ‘an experimental measure’, explain reports, backed by local PSP police and inspectors working for the parish council.
