A branch of Barclays bank in Faro was robbed on Tuesday by an armed man at around 1pm.
The robbery, which took place at the branch on Avenida Gulbenkian, was the third at Barclays branches in the region within a month.
A spokesman from Faro’s PSP police told the Algarve Resident: “The robber entered the bank with his face uncovered and pointed a gun to demand money from a cashier before running away.
“He stole 830 euros.”
The spokesman added: “The case is now being investigated by the Polícia Judiciária.”
