A man stole cash in a robbery at the Santander Totta bank in Guia on October 28.
A spokesman from GNR police told the Algarve Resident that the robber entered the bank with his face uncovered and pulled out a gun, threatening a bank employee.
He demanded the banker should hand over the money he had in his cash box.
The GNR police responded but the investigation is now being handled by the PJ police.
