A BANK in Vilamoura was robbed last Wednesday (March 12) at around noon by a masked man.
He entered the Caixa Geral de Depósitos bank, near the marina, brandishing a knife and held it to a cashier’s neck, telling the others to hand over the money. It is believed he made off with several hundred euros but staff have refused to speak to the media about the incident. The assailant is said to be aged around 20 and spoke to staff in Portuguese. The case is being investigated by the Judicial Police.
