THREE MEN were arrested on Monday by the PSP when attempting to rob a bank in Moscavide, Lisbon.
Paula Monteiro, a spokeswoman for the PSP, said that the police received an emergency phone call at 9.12am alerting them to the fact that a bank robbery was being prepared at Praça José Queirós by three armed and hooded individuals.
The spokeswoman said that the men did not enter the bank because of police intervention and all are now in custody.
