More than 80 members of afpop, Portugal’s largest foreign residents association, ended the season in style with a summer ball at Vila Monte in Moncarapacho on June 27.
Guests enjoyed the chance to chat with friends on the terrace area of the Orangerie Restaurant, before being served a three-course dinner.
After the meal there was a prize draw, followed by classic pop and rock music from the 60s for the rest of the evening.
Organiser Linda Cree, supported by her husband Graeme, said: “afpop is a good way to make friends when you are in Portugal and we look forward to meeting more new members at the events we have planned for next season.”
