Police arrested a young man thought to be ‘beehind’ a number of bee-related thefts in the Algoz area recently. The arrest follows the discovery of numerous stolen beehives, 320 kilos of honey and a lot of bee-keeping equipment in a warehouse in Fonte Louzeiros in Silves last week.
The stash was all reported stolen from a beekeeper in Algoz.
