More than 220 backpacks were donated to Silves-based Castelo dos Sonhos charity and have now been distributed to underprivileged children in the area as they return to school.
Organisers of the Backpack appeal this year would like to thank everyone who supported the appeal this year with special thanks being given to St Vincent’s Anglican Chaplaincy, the Masons, Guys & Dolls, Robalot design and Absolute Zero who provided backpacks on a non profit basis for the appeal.
