The European Senior Tour Qualifying School has just announced arrangements for the latest campaign and the fantastic news is that, during January and February of this year, it will again take place in the Algarve.
The First Stage is to be held at two of Pestana’s venues: Silves Golf and the Gramacho course, designed by Nick Price. This crucial opening stage commences on January 24 and 25 over both of these prestigious Algarve golfing venues.
The Final Stage – contested by between 60 and 70 top players – takes place at another of Pestana’s courses, Vale da Pinta.
From Monday, January 28 to Friday, February 1, players claiming the top five positions are rewarded with the prize of a lucrative, full playing card for the season. Competitors finishing above 6th spot also have the exciting prospect of picking up conditional cards, depending on overall finishing scores.
Once again, the Algarve has been chosen to host a prestigious, international competition and the event will be graced by a top-quality field.
The Pestana Group says it looks forward to staging “another highly successful event”, as the Algarve continues to be showcased as a first-class golfing location.
