Pinetrees Riding Centre in Almancil is hosting an autumn gymkhana on October 25.
The event, which starts at 10am, is open to riders of all abilities and ages.
The day will begin with equitation classes and there will also be clear round jumping throughout the morning, with invisible jumps and cross poles.
In the afternoon, there will be a handy horse event, which includes a testing and amusing course of obstacles to be completed while the clock ticks.
All entries can be made on the day but advance bookings are recommended. Riders should wear correct show attire where possible for the equitation classes.
The use of jackets will be left to the discretion of the judges on the day.
Entries cost 10 euros for the day, with the hire of a horse costing 35 euros.
Drinks and snacks will be available throughout the day in order to help raise funds for Riding for the Disabled in the Algarve.
